MI New York (short for Mumbai Indians New York) is an American professional Twenty20 cricket team that competes in Major League Cricket (MLC).[1] The team is based out of New York City, New York, and was established in June 2023 as one of six inaugural teams to compete in the tournament.[2] The team has a minor league affiliate, the Manhattan Yorkers, which competes alongside 25 other teams in Minor League Cricket (MiLC).[3] The team is owned by Indiawin Sports, who also owns teams that compete in the Indian Premier League, SA20, and ILT20.[4] During the 2023 season, the team defeated Seattle in the finals to take home the inaugural title.[5]

The team plans to have their homeground built at Marine Park in Brooklyn, New York.[6] The park's cricket ground is set to have an expected capacity of 10,000 once completed.[7][8] The team is coached by former South African spinner Robin Peterson.[9]
