Macedo de Cavaleiros (Portuguese pronunciation: [mɐˈsedu dɨ kɐvɐˈlei̯ɾuʃ] ) is a city and municipality in northeastern Portugal, in Bragança District. The population in 2011 was 15,776,[1] in an area of 699.14 km2.[2]
