Maimbung, officially the Municipality of Maimbung (Tausūg: كاومن سين ماءيمبوڠ; Tagalog: Bayan ng Maimbung), is a municipality in the province of Sulu, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 59,597 people.[3]
It was the seat of the Sultanate of Sulu.
