Masoud Pezeshkian (Persian: مسعود پزشکیان; born 29 September 1954)[1] is an Iranian reformist politician who is currently representing Tabriz, Osku and Azarshahr electoral district in the Parliament of Iran, and also served as its First Deputy Speaker from May 29, 2016 to May 26, 2020. He was Minister of Health between 2001 and 2005 in the cabinet of President Mohammad Khatami.[2]
