Mattu University (MaU) (Ge'ez: መቱ ዩኒቨርሲቲ) is a public university located in Metu, Oromia Region, Ethiopia. It was established in 2011 by Council of Ministers Regulation No. 239/2011 as part of a national initiative to expand access to higher education.[1][2]
