Farhad Abdi Shaheen (Kurdish: Ferhad Ebdî Şahîn; Arabic: فرهاد عبدي شاهين; born 1967), better known by his nom de guerre Mazloum Kobani Abdi[a][3][4] (Kurdish: Mezlûm Ebdî[5]Arabic: مظلوم عبدي[6]) and his previous nom de guerre Şahin Cilo,[7] is a Syrian Kurdish military leader, serving as the commander-in-chief[b] of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).[11][12] Various news articles have referred to him with the name "Mazlum Kobane."[13][14]
