Motahar Hossain (born 19 December 1948)[1] is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and a former Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Lalmonirhat-1 constituency during 2001–2024. He served as the State minister of Primary and Mass Education during 2009–2014.[2][3]
