The Nationalist Congress Party was an Indian political faction under the leadership of Ajit Pawar, splintered from the main Nationalist Congress Party under Sharad Pawar.[3] The faction has currently 41 MLAs from Maharashtra, 7 MLAs from Nagaland, and 3 MPs in Indian Parliament.
