Nexon Co., Ltd. (formerly Korean주식회사 넥슨) is a South Korean video game publisher.[7] It publishes titles including MapleStory, Dungeon & Fighter, Sudden Attack, and KartRider.[7] Headquartered in Japan, the company has offices in South Korea, the United States, Taiwan and Thailand.[8]

Nexon was founded in Seoul, South Korea, in 1994 by Kim Jung-ju. In 2005, the company moved its headquarters to Tokyo, Japan. The company's largest shareholder is the investment firm NXC, also founded by Jung-ju.[9]
