In Greek mythology, Nilus (/ˈnaɪləs/; Ancient Greek: Νεῖλος, romanized: Neilos) is one of 3,000 river gods, who represent the god of the Nile river itself. Nilus is the son of the water gods Oceanus and Tethys.
