Nisith Pramanik (born 17 January 1986) is an Indian politician from West Bengal who is currently serving as the Union Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs and Union Minister of State, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports since 2021 and a member of the Lok Sabha representing Cooch Behar, West Bengal since 2019 as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.[3] He was also member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from 2021 until 2021 from Dinhata Assembly constituency. He was a member of the Trinamool Congress until 2019.
