Colonel Norborne Berkeley, 4th Baron Botetourt (c. 1717 – 15 October 1770), commonly referred to as Lord Botetourt,[1][2] was a British peer, Tory politician, military officer and colonial administrator who served as the governor of Virginia from 1768 to 1770, when he died in office.
