Paternity fraud

Paternity fraud is one form of misattributed paternity[1] or paternal discrepancy.[2] Specifically, paternity fraud is the intentional misidentification of a child's biological father.[citation needed] Paternity fraud is distinct from other, unintentional misattribution, which may arise from simple error, an accident such as a mix-up during fertility treatment, or a sexual assault.[citation needed]
