Peter Laurence Gordon (born June 20, 1951) is an American saxophonistclarinetist, pianist and experimental composer,[1] whose influences include jazz, disco, funk, rock, opera, classical and world music. He has released several albums and composed scores for film and theater, and he has also toured and re-interpreted the music of Arthur Russell,[1] on whose compositions he played, as well as that of Robert Ashley.[2]
