Philoxenus of Cythera

Philoxenus of Cythera (Greek: Φιλόξενος ὁ Κυθήριος; c. 435/4 – 380/79 BC)[1] was a Greek dithyrambic poet, an exponent of the "New Music".[2] He was one of the most important dithyrambic poets of ancient Greece.[3]
