Pranawachandra Deshmukh (born 12 September 1950) is an Indian physicist and educator, known for his contributions to theoretical atomic physics, collisions and light-matter interactions, ultrafast atomic processes, applications of Lambert W Function in pure and applied physics.^[1] He has made many contributions to physics education, including publishing foundation textbooks in classical and quantum physics. He taught classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, and collision theory, and his lectures are freely available through NPTEL.
