Prosleptic syllogism

A prosleptic syllogism (/prəˈslɛptɪk/; from Greek πρόσληψις proslepsis "taking in addition") is a class of syllogisms that use a prosleptic proposition as one of the premises.

The term originated with Theophrastus.[1]
