A pundit is a person who offers opinion in an authoritative manner on a particular subject area (typically politics, the social sciences, technology or sport), usually through the mass media.^[1][2][3] The term pundit describes both woman and men, although a specific type of conservative female pundits have been described as pundette, in particular during the Clinton presidency.
