Lieutenant General Ram Chander Tiwari UYSM, AVSM, SM is a serving general officer in the Indian Army. He currently serves as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Eastern Command.[2] He assumed the post upon the superannuation of Lieutenant General Rana Pratap Kalita. He previously served as the General officer Commanding Uttar Bharat Area [3] and General Officer Commanding III Corps.[4] The general officer is also the Colonel of the KUMAON & NAGA Regiments and KUMAON SCOUTS.[5]
