The Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Expression (SOGIE, /ˈs/ Tagalog: [ˈsɔdʒi]) Equality Bill, also known as the Anti-Discrimination Bill (ADB),[1][2] is a series of House and Senate bills that were introduced in the 17th, 18th, and 19th Congress of the Philippines, which aims to set into law measures to prevent various economic and public accommodation-related acts of discrimination against people based on their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.[3] The first anti-discrimination bill based on SOGIE was first introduced in the 14th Congress of the Philippines, and has since been refiled continuously up to the present Congress.[4][5]
