Sayyid Abdullah (1923 in Farah[1] – 1978) was an Afghan politician. He served as 1st Vice President of Afghanistan[a] and Minister of Finance,[b][2] appointed by Mohammad Daoud Khan[3][4] with whom he was assassinated on 29 April 1978 in the Saur Revolution.[3][5][6] He also served as deputy of Wolesi Jirga from Shindand.[1]
