Governor of Massachusetts Calvin Coolidge inspects the militia during the Boston police strike.
Austrian chancellor Karl Renner addresses the delegates during the signing of the Treaty of Saint-Germain-en-Laye that formally dissolved the Austrian Empire and established the First Austrian Republic.
A massive fire at an oil refinery in Brooklyn sends over 300 to hospital.
