Symbolics, Inc., is a privately held American computer software maker that acquired the assets of the former manufacturing company of the identical name and continues to sell and maintain the Open Genera Lisp system and the Macsyma computer algebra system.[2]

The symbolics.com domain was originally registered on 15 March 1985,[3] making it the first .com-domain in the world. In August 2009, it was sold to napkin.com (formerly XF.com) Investments.[4]
