Telugu Chodas

The Telugu Chodas or Telugu Cholas were vasals who ruled parts of present-day Andhra Pradesh and Telangana between the 5th to 13th centuries as samantas (vassals) of the Pallavas, and later as vassals of the Imperial Cholascentury.[2][3] They are many branches like Renati Chodas,Pottapi, Konidena, Velanati Chodas, Nannuru Chodas, Nellore Chodas, and Kunduru, and claimed descent from the early early Chola Tamil king Karikala Chola.[4]
