This is a documentation subpage for Template:Verify sources. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template indicates that the article has a large number of references in need of verification. It serves as an indication that editors may be attempting to make the subject seem more notable by focusing on the quantity of references, rather than the quality.

This template should be used only for articles where there are many references, but of questionable applicability or quality. For articles that have no references at all, use {{Unreferenced}}; for those with insufficient references, use {{More citations needed}}.
