The Bachelor Party is a 1953 television play directed by Delbert Mann and written by Paddy Chayefsky for the American anthology television series The Philco Television Playhouse. It follows a group of men holding a bachelor party for a soon-to-be wed friend of theirs that soon turns to tension about their lives. Initially staged as a production on October 11, 1953, the drama was later rewritten as a feature film in 1957 titled The Bachelor Party.
Chayefsky's teleplay was produced by Fred Coe for The Philco Television Playhouse on October 11, 1953. Delbert Mann directed.[1]
