Thiruvilaiyadal Puranam

The Thiruvilaiyadal Puranam (Tamil: திருவிளையாடல் புராணம்; transl. Legend of the Sacred Game) is a collection of sixty-four 7th-century Shaivite devotional epic stories by the sage Paranjothi. They describe the actions (and antics) of Shiva on earth in a number of disguises to test and help his devotees.^[1]^[2]
