GLAM Baltimore 2011 is a series of GLAM related events that will take place July 22-23 in Baltimore. These events allowed for Wikimedians involved in GLAM-WIKI and representatives from GLAMs throughout the Baltimore area to come together to explore the exciting opportunities related to Wikipedia partnerships with cultural institutions. The weekend consisted of two events: a happy hour for emerging GLAM professionals on the evening of Friday, the 22nd and a lively discussion and series of breakout sessions on the morning of Saturday, the 23rd.
GLAM Baltimore 2011 was hosted and sponsored by by the Walters Art Museum, Baltimore Heritage and planned by Eli Pousson.
Wikimedians were encouraged to attend who are interested specifically in GLAMWIKI relationships!
