DC Meetup #17

Who should come? You should. Really.
This will be the first official meeting of the proposed Wikimedia DC chapter and we will also update everyone on our successful Wikimania 2012 bid! A post-meeting dinner will then take place, where discussion can continue.
Agenda items:
- Discussion of our proposed chapter, including bylaws, steps involved & timeline towards Wikimedia DC becoming an official Wikimedia chapter.
- We will also update everyone on our successful Wikimania bid, discuss what's next in the planning process, most importantly including sponsorships and finalizing arrangements with the venue, as well as keynote speakers and media relations.
- Discuss upcoming activities that we want to do over the summer and fall, (e.g. Wikipedia Takes DC? or Baltimore? library workshops? summer picnic, meetup & tour at NARA 2) and update on our GLAM outreach & collaborations.
