The following lists contain articles and images on Astronomy-related topics that have received recognition based on merit.

Featured articles undergo a rigorous review and are found to satisfy the necessary criteria. These articles can then be featured on the main page. If a featured article is reviewed and found to no longer satisfy the criteria, it becomes a former featured article. Comparable processes are used to determine featured lists and former featured lists.

Good articles undergo a peer review and must satisfy the good article criteria. They too can be reassessed and delisted.

This is a list of recognized content, updated weekly by JL-Bot (talk · contribs) (typically on Saturdays). There is no need to edit the list yourself. If an article is missing from the list, make sure it is tagged (e.g. {{WikiProject Astronomy}}) or categorized correctly and wait for the next update. See WP:RECOG for configuration options.
