Zuhal Demir (born 2 March 1980) is a Belgian lawyer and politician affiliated to the N-VA. Demir was elected as a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives in 2010 and served there until 2017.[2] She is currently a member of the Flemish Parliament and the Flemish minister for Justice and Enforcement, Environment, Energy and Tourism. Previously she served as Secretary of State for Poverty Reduction in the Belgian Government (2017–2018).
