My Bloody Valentine est un groupe de shoegazing irlandais, originaire de Dublin. Il est composé du guitariste et chanteur/compositeur Kevin Shields, du batteur Colm Ó Cíosóig, de la bassiste Debbie Googe et de la chanteuse et guitariste Bilinda Butcher. Après deux albums, le groupe se sépare en 1997. Il revient officiellement dix ans plus tard et publie un nouvel album en 16 ans, intitulé MBV.
