The Legend of Zelda (ゼルダの伝説?, Zeruda no Densetsu) è una serie di videogiochi d'avventura di ambito fantastico, creata da Shigeru Miyamoto e Takashi Tezuka nel 1986 per il Nintendo Entertainment System.

La serie divenne subito una delle più importanti della storia videoludica, arrivando a vendere complessivamente quasi 110 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo[1] e producendo un grande numero di seguiti, comparsi su molte delle console dell'azienda di Kyoto: Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Game Boy, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii U e Nintendo Switch.
