CAE

CAE（英: computer-aided engineering、シーエーイー）は、コンピュータによって支援された、製品の設計・製造や工程設計の事前検討などといったエンジニアリングの作業のこと。^[1][2][3]あるいはそのためのソフトウェアやツール等を指す場合もある。計算機援用工学（けいさんきえんようこうがく）^[4]とも呼ばれる。

要素技術としては、シミュレーション（コンピュータシミュレーション）数値解析^[5][6][7]、などがある。
