Republik Slovenia (Jawi: ‏ريڤوبليك سلوۏينيا‎code: ms is deprecated ‎) atau dalam bahasa tempatan, Slovenija, ialah sebuah negara yang terletak di Eropah Tengah dan bersempadankan Itali di barat, Laut Adriatik di barat daya, Crotia di selatan dan timur, Hungary di timur laut dan Austria di utara. Dahulunya sebahagian daripada republik Yugoslavia, Slovenia mengumumkan kemerdekaannya pada 1991 dan menjadi anggota Kesatuan Eropah pada 1 Mei 2004.

Slovenia juga menyertai Majlis Eropah dan NATO serta menjadi pemerhati dalam La Francophine.

Whereas the Constitution of Slovenia determines the title of the poem, the act about the anthem specifically determines its seventh stanza. It has been argued that the act contradicts the constitution and that the question should be resolved by the Slovenian Constitutional Court.^[3]
