Nu metal (também conhecido como nü-metal,[4] aggro-metal,[1][5] neo-metal ou new metal) é um subgénero[6] do heavy metal.[4][7][8][9] É uma fusão musical[8] que combina elementos do metal com outros géneros, como o hip-hop e a música industrial. É classificado como parte do metal alternativo.[1][10]
