Joseph (Hebrew: יוסף, romanized: Yosef; Greek: Ἰωσήφ, romanizedIoséph) is a figure in the Gospels, the husband of Mary, the mother of Jesus and the step father of Jesus. In Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox and Anglican Christian traditions, he is regarded as Saint Joseph.
