ITV Sport is a sport producer for ITV. It was formed following the merger between Granada Sport and Central Sport.[1]

The majority of ITV Sport programmes are broadcast on ITV4 although live football, major horse racing events and the Rugby World Cup are shown on the ITV network (ITV1, STV and UTV). ITV2 and ITV3 are only used when more than one sporting event clashes and either ITV1 or ITV4 can’t broadcast. e.g. if live motorsport clashes with Tour de France. The Tour de France will be on ITV4 with motorsport on ITV3. ITV2 is normally used when there is sport that needs to be shown but there is another sport on ITV4 and ITV Racing on ITV3. In 2020 ITV2 broadcast the British Touring Car Championship while ITV4 shown Tour de France and ITV3 shown ITV Racing. ITV2 is also used either during Euros or World Cup if England or another home nation plays on the same day e.g. Scotland. The England Match will be on ITV1 and ITV2 with the home rival on STV/UTV and ITV4. The rest of extra sporting coverage will be on ITV3 and ITVX. This mostly involves Snooker, Darts and ITV Racing.

The director of ITV Sport is Niall Sloane, who reports to ITV's director of television Kevin Lygo.
