Irving is a city in Dallas County, Texas, United States. It is part of the Mid-Cities region of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and is an inner ring suburb of Dallas. Irving is noted for its racial and ethnic diversity.[10][11] The city had a population of 256,684 according to the 2020 United States Census, making it the twelfth-most populous city in Texas, and the 87th most populous in the U.S.[12] Irving includes the Las Colinas mixed-use master-planned community and part of the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
