Why is this template written in Irish and not English? This is an English speaking Wikipedia and on other Politics templates for other countries it is written in English. I am no trying to undermine the Irish language or anything like that in any way I am just saying that as this is an English speaking Wikipedia, it should be written in English to make it easier for users to understand. Maybe the Irish translation could be in brackets in something in the template but I feel it should predominantly be English. --Horses In The Sky 11:28, 9 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The reason that Irish terms are used is because they are more common in English and this does not conflict with wikipedia policy. It would be messy to include English translations. Djegan 11:40, 9 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
