The Pont de l'Alma (English: Alma Bridge) is a road bridge in Paris, France, across the Seine. It was named to commemorate the Battle of Alma during the Crimean War, in which the Ottoman-Franco-British alliance achieved victory over the Russian army in 1854. The bridge is also known for being the site of the car crash that caused the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, in 1997.
