FBI is an American crime drama television series created by Dick Wolf and Craig Turk that airs on CBS, where it premiered on September 25, 2018.[1] The series is produced by Wolf Entertainment, CBS Studios, and Universal Television, with Dick Wolf, Arthur W. Forney, Peter Jankowski, and Turk serving as executive producers.

The series features an ensemble cast including Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Ebonée Noel, Sela Ward, Alana de la Garza, John Boyd and Katherine Renee Turner. FBI received a straight-to-series commission for 13 episodes on September 20, 2017.[2] In May 2020, CBS renewed the series for a third season.[3] The third season premiered on November 17, 2020.[4][5] In March 2021, CBS renewed the series for a fourth season,[6] which premiered on September 21, 2021.[7] In May 2022, CBS renewed the series for a fifth and sixth season;[8] the fifth season premiered on September 20, 2022,[9] and the sixth season premiered on February 13, 2024.[10] The sixth season premier was delayed from September 2023 due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. For the same reason, there will be just 13 episodes in the sixth season.[11] In April 2024, the series was renewed through season nine, ensuring its spot on the air until 2027.[12]
