Labiodental consonant

In phonetics, labiodentals are consonants articulated with the lower lip and the upper teeth. In English, labiodentalized /s/, /z/ and /r/ are characteristic of some individuals; these may be written [sᶹ], [zᶹ], [ɹᶹ].[1]
