The Ecologists (French: Les Écologistes, LE), formerly known as Europe Ecology – The Greens[3] (French: Europe Écologie les Verts [øʁɔp ekɔlɔʒi le vɛʁ], EELV ɛl ve]) is a centre-left[4] to left-wing[5][6] green[7] political party in France. The party is a member of the European Green Party.[8] The party was formed on 13 November 2010 from the merger of The Greens and Europe Ecology.[9]
