Gay literature

Oscar Wilde, a gay writer of the 19th century who included allusions to homosexuality in works such as The Picture of Dorian Gray. Wilde was jailed for homosexual relations in 1895.

Gay literature is a collective term for literature produced by or for the gay community which involves characters, plot lines, and/or themes portraying male homosexual behavior.[1][2]
