The Taymani (Persian: تیمنی) are an Aimaq people in Ghor Province in central Afghanistan. They speak the Aimaq dialect of Persian, but some southern groups of Taymanis speak the Pashto language. The Taymani people claim descent Kakar Pashtuns.[1]
