The Assembly (Turkmen: Mejlis) is the unicameral legislature of Turkmenistan.^[2][3] Between March 2021 and 21 January 2023, it was the lower house of the National Council of Turkmenistan. It consists of 125 members,^[1][4] who are elected for five-year terms in single-seat constituencies.
