Ida B. Robinson (August 3, 1891 – April 20, 1946) was an American Holiness-Pentecostal and Charismatic denominational leader.[1] She was the founder, first Senior Bishop and President of the Mount Sinai Holy Church of America, Inc.[1] Robinson formed the organization in response to her vision and Divine Call to secure an organizational home where women preachers would be welcomed and encouraged. Mount Sinai Holy Church of America is the only organization founded by an African-American woman that held consistent female leadership from its founding in 1924 until February 2001.

In 1924, Philadelphia pastor Ida Robinson defected to form the Mount Sinai Holy Church of America, thus securing full rights of ordination for women. Then, five years later, a group loyal to evangelist Brumfied Johnson organized as the Mount Calvary Holy Church of America. Another addition to the Holiness Pentecostal ranks arrived, unexpectedly, from dissension within Finished Work efforts among Latinos in the West and Southwest.
