An election was held on November 8, 2022, to elect all 40 members to Massachusetts' Senate. The election coincided with elections for other offices, including governor, and U.S. House of Representatives.

Democrats gained 1 seat, increasing their supermajority to 37 out of 40 seats.[2] Simultaneously with gains in the state house, and Maura Healey's win in the gubernatorial race, Democrats won a trifecta in the state for the first time since 2014.[3]
